Welcome to Fierce Miles
We are a group of dedicated fitness professionals, writers, and food enthusiasts on a mission to change the way this world looks at fitness, clean eating, and running one mile at a time.
Fun Facts About Us
Fierce Miles was founded “on the run”. Literally.
One gloomy, spring Sunday morning, Kseniya was out on a long run with a group of friends and fellow runners when she overheard a conversation between two acquaintances about their diet and fitness program. They talked about extremely low caloric intake and grueling workouts that lasted for hours. When Kseniya asked them why they chose to follow their specific regiment, the answer was something that we hear in the fitness industry all too often: “Well, isn’t that what you are supposed to do to lose weight and tone?” Fierce Miles was born then and there.
Fierce Miles started as a blog with a mission to dispel fitness myth.
From that gloomy Sunday run forward, Kseniya was on a mission to insure men and women everywhere to achieved their fitness, athletic, and body composition goals in a safe and effective manner. She began combing through social media, magazines, blogs, and interviewing everyday people to find out some of the most prevalent and flawed techniques used to lose weight and get in shape. The supply of information was endless.
We believe in disciplined moderation and bacon.
We are on a mission of staying fit for life and helping our clients to do the same. We also believe that if you are not having fun, you are not living. Which is why we are big proponents of doing things with disciplined moderation. Disciplined moderation means scheduling time off from the gym, enjoy a piece of cake every now and again, and having regular nibbles of bacon but doing it in a way that prevents one “off” meal turning into 5 and so on. Having a piece of bacon isn’t going to make you fat, having the whole pig will.
Kseniya is actually a pretty good artist.
Yep, we were also surprised. Turns out, our founder lives a double life as a secret pastel artist.
We believe that running can be a solution to every problem.
Even those of us who don’t run, know that most conflicts can be resolved and most problems can be solved after a good, long run. We are pretty sure it’s all the endorphins.

I want to tell you a little bit about me. I’ve changed my career to change my life. Former office warrior, I was unhappy, tired, overweight and often very sick. I struggled with yo-yo dieting, crazy fitness routines and spotty gym attendance. I must have tried it all! Dance, spin, step aerobics, lifting, CrossFit, the list goes on… I never could lose the weight I wanted to lose, the exercise habit never seemed to stick, and I slid off of the latest fad diet the moment Friday rolled around. I had no idea what I was doing wrong and in the meantime the pounds packed on, bad habits were built on top of other bad habits, and I slowly slid into the pit of depression and self-pity.
It took years for me to grab the bull by the horns and truly dive in to discover the root of the problem. I observed fitness pros, studied the behavior of fit and healthy people, read, researched, and finally I had a moment when it all came together: sustainability, sanity, compassion, and unbiased accountability is what was lacking in all of the programs that I subjected myself to.
I’ve always enjoyed helping people reach their true potential and take their lives to another level. Whether it is through fitness and nutrition or through speaking, writing, and coaching, I have been helping folks in all walks of life to unearth their inner strength and bring it to the surface.
I have founded Fierce Miles on the concept of sanity and sustainability. I teach my clients how to make small, gradual, and measurable changes in their daily routines to achieve lasting fitness success. I create personalized, easy to follow diet plans and training practices to meet the client at their level. This is what makes my approach successful and applicable to almost any personality, age and fitness level.
